Event Timetable – 2019

Friday 10th May 2019

6:30am – 11am – Event check in at Eurong beachfront. 
Meet and greet with QPWS Rangers and event sponsors
Raffle tickets and merchandise available for sale
Locate camp site and set up camp, enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Saturday 11th May 2019

8:00am – 10am  – Event check in Eurong Beachfront.
Meet and greet with QPWS Rangers and event sponsors
Raffle tickets and merchandise available for sale
Locate camp site and set up camp, enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.
8am – 2pm – Clubs assigned to clean south of Dilli Village or north of Indian Head invited to clean designated beach cleaning zone. Trip leader to brief volunteers on clean up safety procedure requirement and to verify all volunteers are wearing mandatory PPE equipment. Issue of rubbish collection bags and the system for collection to separate general waste from recyclable materials. 
Clubs and volunteers enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Sunday 12th May 2019 (Mother’s Day)

8:00am  – All clubs to be on the beach at their designated cleaning / weeding area. Trip leader or QPWS Rangers to brief volunteers on clean up safety procedures, requirements and to verify all volunteers on clean up safety procedures, requirements and to verify all volunteers are wearing mandatory PPE equipment. Issue of rubbish collection bags and the system for collecting to separate general waste from recyclable materials and issuing of tolls to conducting weeding activities. Let’s get Cleaning!
1pm – Yidney Rocks Volunteer BBQ. Enjoy a sausage sizzle and drink while kicking back admiring the best view on the island.
Networking opportunity with clubs and volunteers.
Raffle tickets and merchandise available for sale $5ea
4:00pm – 4WD QLD Fraser Island Clean Up Volunteer BBQ at Cathedrals on Fraser, $10 fee per person to attend

Entertainment
4.30pm – Dinner commences (kids to be fed first).
5:00pm – Sponsors in attendance, certificates of appreciation issued. 
5.30pm – Clean up statistics communicated.Raffle ticket sales close.
6:00pm – Raffle draws commence
7:00pm – End of BBQ, clubs to travel back to camp or stick around and enjoy the entertainment.

Clubs and volunteers commence departing Fraser Island. See you again in 2020.
