Invitation to Sponsor Fraser Island Clean Up

4WD Queensland is inviting sponsorships for the 19th annual Fraser Island Clean Up event planned to be held in May 2019. This event is Australia’s largest beach clean up and showcases 4WD Queensland’s drive to promote responsible use of the environment and support events that keep our public land in a pristine condition. Our invitation to sponsors provides a unique opportunity to contribute to this event whilst gaining exposure as a responsible, environmentally conscious and community minded organisation.

The Fraser Island Clean Up is run over a weekend with 4WD Queensland affiliated clubs and their members volunteering their time to clean and weed the World Heritage Island. Four Wheel Drive Queensland works closely with Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service as the driving force behind this annual event. The Fraser Island Clean Up relies on support from sponsors like you to ensure its continued success.

In 2018 Fraser Island Clean Up had 728 volunteers remove a staggering 6,974kg of waste from our beaches, waterways and tracks with all waste recorded in the Australian Marine Debris Initiative Database which enables scientists, government agencies, communities and organisations to access data on marine debris in Australia for educational and research purposes.  

The event receives a significant amount of media exposure and has been featured on channel 7 Creek to Coast.

We offer four sponsorship levels, each of which offers something a little different to match individual needs and or budgets. Sponsorship opportunities are now open and will close on the 15th February 2019.

All Sponsors will be entitled to:

  • Use of the Logo: All official sponsors may use the Fraser Island Clean Up logo on their email, website and social media sites for the year in which the event occurred.
  • Letter and Certificate of Appreciation: All sponsors will receive a letter and certificate of appreciation.

PLATINUM ENTITLEMENT – Exclusive one opportunity only
$10 000 value of product donated to prize draw and cash (min 50% cash) donated to the event

As per Bronze, Silver and Gold levels, plus:

  • Major supporting sponsor naming rights for the event e.g. 4WD QLD Fraser Island Clean Up sponsored by your company name here.
  • Premium placement of company logo printed and displayed on event sponsorship board, displayed at event check in and thank you BBQ.
  • Placement of company logo on event vehicle and camping tags.
  • Announcements promoting your company over the event weekend.
  • Premium placement of company logo printed on FICU Merchandise event shirt.
  • Premium placement of company logo on event timetable / program.
  • Regular spruiking of company on social media prior and after the event 6 x pre event 6 x post event.
  • Company or product banners placed in primary prominent locations at event check in and thank you BBQ.
  • Discount barge access, free vehicle access and camping permits, max issue of 4.
  • Optional – Premium site in event promotional display area for sale / promotion of company / product.

GOLD ENTITLEMENTS
$3 000 to $9 999 value of product donated to prize draw and or cash donated to the event

As per Bronze and Silver levels, plus:

  • Placement of company logo on FICU Merchandise event shirt.
  • Company or product banners placed in prominent locations, max 2 signs at event check in and thank you BBQ.
  • Spruiking of company on social media 3 x pre event 3 x post event.
  • Placement of company logo on event timetable / program.
  • Discount barge access, free vehicle access and camping permits, maximum issue of 2.
  • Optional – event promotional display area for sale / promotion of company / product max size 6 x 3m (1 gazebo).

SILVER ENTITLEMENTS
$1 500 to $2 999 value of product donated to prize draw and or cash donated to the event

As per Bronze level entitlements, plus:

  • Company logo displayed on the big screen during the thank you BBQ.
  • 1 x Discount barge access, free vehicle access and camping permit.
  • Spruiking of company on social media (Facebook) 2 x pre event and 2 x post event

BRONZE ENTITLEMENTS
$300 to $1 499 value of product donated to prize draw and or cash donated to the event

  • Company logo printed and displayed on event sponsorship boards, displayed at registration tent and thank you BBQ.
  • Company logo and hyperlink to company placed on Facebook and website.
  • Spruiking of company on social media (Facebook) 1 x pre event and 1 x post event
